Welcome to The KAAE Edit Newsletter, a letter from our St. Louis-based luxury footwear house. Founded by Dr. Kingya, KAAE COLLECTIONS brings together Italian craftsmanship, women’s empowerment, and a deeply personal commitment to remembrance and cancer awareness.

Our Italian-made collection is crafted by skilled shoemakers using genuine Italian leather. From statement stilettos and platform pumps to elegant mules, loafers, boots, and slippers, each design honors individuality and confidence.

Every pair is made to order. The estimated delivery window is six to eight weeks, allowing time for thoughtful craftsmanship.

In loving memory of
April L. Riley.

Beloved sister. Warrior. Shero. Forever remembered.

On May 18, 2016, our family lost April L. Riley to stage IV pancreatic cancer. She was only 35. April was Dr. Kingya's younger sister, a woman of style, spirit, and conviction who championed the freedom and empowerment of women.

Serious illness and limited financial resources placed devastating burdens on our family. After the loss, a question gave direction to grief: What can I create with my own hands to keep my sister's memory alive? That question became the creative beginning of KAAE, as footwear came to symbolize style, heritage, and lasting memory.

We also remember our cousin Debra Davis, and every family whose lives have been forever changed by cancer. Every name carries a story worthy of remembrance.

November is personal to our house. We remember April and stand with families facing pancreatic cancer: patients, caregivers, loved ones, and families who are grieving. Their stories deserve attention long after awareness month ends.
